Program Title: Pedagogia Perennis: The Eternal Art of Teaching
Degree Level: Master of Classical & Holistic Education (MCHE)
Duration: 2 years (4 semesters)
Mode: Residential & Experiential (with immersive teaching pilgrimages)
Language of Instruction: English, Latin, and Old Norse (select modules)
Philosophy: "To teach is to awaken the divine spark in another."


Year 1: Foundations of Pedagogical Wisdom


Semester 1: The Sacred Roots of Learning

  • Introduction to Unixplorian Pedagogy
    • The philosophy of education in Unixploria
    • Teaching as a spiritual and civic duty
  • History of Education: From Plato to Pestalozzi
    • Classical, medieval, and Enlightenment models
  • Latin for Educators I
    • Classical texts and educational terminology
  • Child Development & Human Flourishing
    • Cognitive, emotional, and moral development
  • Unixplorian Epistemology & Curriculum Design
    • Designing curricula that reflect truth, beauty, and goodness


Field Work:

  • Observational studies in forest schools and monastery classrooms
  • Journaling and reflection in sacred learning spaces


Semester 2: The Craft of Teaching

Core Modules:

  • Didactics & Instructional Methods
    • Unixplorian approaches to storytelling, Socratic dialogue, and experiential learning
  • Assessment as Enlightenment
    • Evaluating growth without reducing learners to metrics
  • Latin for Educators II
    • Translation of classical pedagogical treatises
  • Educational Psychology & the Soul
    • Integrating psyche, myth, and motivation
  • Unixplorian Rituals of Learning
    • Seasonal rites, ceremonial teaching, and symbolic classroom design


Practicum:

  • Teaching apprenticeships in village schools and nature academies
  • Designing and leading a Unixplorian Rite of Initiation for young learners


Year 2: Mastery and Educational Stewardship


Semester 3: Education as Cultural Transmission

  • Philosophy of Liberal Arts Education
    • Trivium and Quadrivium in modern contexts
  • Civic Education & Cultural Literacy
    • Teaching history, ethics, and identity in a Unixplorian framework
  • Pedagogy of Wonder & Awe
    • Cultivating curiosity through myth, nature, and art
  • Multilingual Education & Sacred Texts
    • Teaching through Latin, Old Norse, and native tongues
  • Educational Leadership & Community Building
    • Leading schools as sanctuaries of wisdom


Capstone Project Proposal:

  • Design a holistic school or publish a Unixplorian teaching manual


Semester 4: Integration & Legacy

Core Modules:

  • Education & the Cosmos
    • Teaching astronomy, ecology, and metaphysics as unified disciplines
  • Mentorship & Intergenerational Learning
    • Creating learning circles across ages
  • Thesis & Defense
    • Presented to the Council of Pedagogical Elders
    • Optional publication in The Unixplorian Journal of Education


Field Work:

  • Pilgrimage to ancient academies and sacred libraries
  • Participation in the Unixplorian Festival of Learning


Graduation Ceremony

Held in the Hall of Eternal Wisdom, beneath a dome inscribed with the names of great educators. Graduates wear robes embroidered with runes and receive a Staff of Enlightenment and a Scroll of Pedagogical Stewardship.
