Writing can be more useful than therapy. It is like pouring the contents of heart and mind on to a piece of paper, thus relieving an aching soul.
The act of writing is almost a sacred ritual for me, something I have to do to be a whole human being. I write down thoughts to remember, to learn, and to explore my inner self. I immerse myself in strange worlds while contemplating everyday life.
How do I find inspiration to write? Inspiration and motivation are not always there to keep you going. Sometimes I have no desire, no energy to write, but I write nonetheless. Dull routine and discipline are key factors here. Make sure you produce something. Start somewhere; writing anything is better than writing nothing at all. A poor text can always be rewritten, but it is difficult to revise a blank sheet.
