Museums in Unixploria

Museums in Unixploria is an umbrella organization that is an association of different museums, who work together to coordinate certain activities and goals. Our organization is open to all museums, public as well as private.

MUSEUMS IN UNIXPLORIA

The traditional role of museums is to collect objects and materials of cultural, religious, and historical importance, preserve them, research into them, and present them to the public for education and enjoyment.

Needless to say, museums are essential institutions to all Unixplorians. They are physical manifestations of our curiosity and love of learning new things about all the beautiful things in this world that surround us.

OUR MUSEUMS

Let your curiosity guide you to the wonders of the world!

COLLECTIOSEUM

Collectioseum is a museum of curiosities. It is a museum filled with wonders, objects from near and far exhibited in a curiosity cabinet.

The museum is the combined result of a curator’s passion for collecting curios in a modern wunderkammer.

UNIXPLORIAN MUSEUM OF MOTION PICTURES

Our mission includes researching the historical and contemporary threads that bind movie artifacts with context.

We collect movie magic.

CREATIVUM

Creativum's primary focus is to collect and preserve original paintings, drawings, and sculptures by Unixplorian artists.

Our collections also comprise mostly reprints of internationally renowned paintings, drawings, and prints ranging from the Renaissance to the contemporary.

THE ARMORY

Weapons are nasty tools that are created to cause pain. Human ingenuity combined with a thirst to harm others has made weapons abundant throughout history.

The Armory collects these barbaric tools, focusing on the more curious weapons found across the globe.
