Imperium Universalis - Great Seal

Imperium Universalis first came about in the early 1990s. It started as a game among a few close friends but soon leapt forward when our current king decided to take it a step further. The idea was to create a nation of polymaths. A country where curiosity flourished, and the highest goal of every citizen was to learn and grow.

Academia Homo Universalis

Academia Homo Universalis was a precursor to Academia Unixploria, but in a way, perhaps, more an idea that we should strive for. The idea, rooted in the renaissance ideal, continues in Project Polymath.

Academia Athletica Homo

Academia Athletica Homo was a branch of physical education in our humble beginnings. We encouraged people to exercise to be fit and become polymaths in the true sense of the word, a jack of all trades with a sound mind and a good body. This logo was drafted on a desktop computer in 1992 and printed years later. Homo Duplicus was the ideal man all citizens should strive for.

Samlarlyckan Universalis

Samlarlyckan (Collector's Joy) was a precursor to what would later become Collectioseum. It started as the king's pet project. He has always been an avid collector and began to write about his collections on a blog in 1996. The blog and the king's ambitions for creating a national museum grew.

Slucla

The first logotype proposal would become a much-used symbol for Samlarlyckan's classification department.

Samlarlyckan Classifiction

A label to be used on the various artefacts in Samlarlyckan's collections. The specific Slucla-number on each object was assigned according to a classification system still used at Collectioseum today.

Samlarlyckan Insamling

Samlarlyckan was, as mentioned, the precursor to Collectioseum. In Imperium Universalis's days, we had highflying plans to fund expeditions to collect new artefacts for our national museum. Some expeditions indeed successful, and a few of the items collected back then are part of our heritage collection at Collectioseum.

Economica

When our king toiled with the idea of founding a new nation, he took great pride in financial control. He found inspiration from the national central banks worldwide and wanted to create something similar regarding Imperium Universalis. The idea resulted in a new currency called Vitten, which we use today's money in the Kingdom of Unixploria.

A logo is used on all documents regarding planning and organising the government's daily work.

Vita Realistica

Vita Realistica was a project that encouraged Imperium Universalis citizens to take better care of their bodies, emphasizing nutritional advice. The state even offered free pamphlets for the most common diseases (e.g., Diabetes, Asthma, etc.) and ways to improve self-management.

A rough draft of a bookplate to be used by Biblioteca Universalis. It was meant to be printed and used in all the books of our national library. Biblioteca Universalis was the precursor to Biblioteca Unixploria.

Universalistiska Idealister Utopia

The first political party of Imperium Universalis was named Universalistiska Idealister Utopia (Universal Idealist's Utopia). The party attained nine votes in a macronational municipal election held in 1994, far more than we anticipated.

Encyclopedia Cinemania

Logo of an ambitious project initiated by Samlarlyckan, the precursor to Collectioseum. The goal was to create an online database of the film collection and writing genre overviews intended for a wider audience. The project is still ongoing yet somewhat revised.
