Royal Court

The Royal Court

Welcome to the Royal Courts of Unixploria! On these pages you can follow the royal family, as well as getting insights to what the royal family does.

The members of the royal family play an important role, both as role models and legislators to the nation.

What is Enlightened Unixplorian Monarchy?

Leif Jan Christer Oxenmyr, King of Unixploria, Protector of Unixplorian Culture and Nature, Defender of the Unixplorian Christian Faith, and Supreme Knight of the Star Cross Order.

Our King

The royal family's surname is rather easy to translate to English. It consists of the two words OXEN (plural of ox) and MYR (mire, a stretch of muddy or swampy ground). The royal surname should be pronounced either in its Scandinavian form or in its English equavalent, i.e. 'Oxenmire.'

The family name is symbolic in the way that we always persevere through difficult times. We keep on crossing the roads less taken, coming out across the mire in glory.

Royal Monograms

Representative

The members of the royal court have a vital task in representing our great nation. They embody Unixploria wherever they are, and in a way also personify all of our nation's strenghts and virtues.

Political

The King is the state. Every new legislation must be approved by him, and every new bill is always a joint work between the king and the govern-ment cabinets. To prevent misuse of the stately founds, a majority of cabinet ministers can suggest a new monarch to be crowned. The latter has not yet

happened in the history of our great nation.

Cultural

The royal court and the cultural history for which it stands is as important, if not more important, than the physical appearance made by the royal family. The royal house is a part of a long cultural tapestry. You might add a thread here and there but the history of the cultural tapestry never changes, it only gets richer.
